Some lucky few of you may be blissfully unaware of this problem, but others of us have been experiencing the newest scourge on the Internet: Comment Spam. The great thing about the 'Net, though, is that no sooner does such a thing arise, than a solution is created.
After testing it first on my own site, I have installed the MT Comment Spam Blacklist plug-in and applied it to all blogfodder blogs. If it works as advertised, it should dramatically reduce instances of unwanted comments from spammers finding their way into our blogs' comment listings. If you get one that isn't on the blacklist, please feel free to email me and I will add it to the database.
